Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

  • The workflow description you submit to generate files
  • Your email address (paid tier only, provided via Stripe checkout)
  • Your IP address (used for rate limiting on the free tier)

2. How we use it

  • Your description is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your files
  • Your email is used to deliver your files via Resend and for support
  • We store your description and generated files in our database so we can resend them if needed

3. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate ConfigSeed:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe handles all card data; we never see your payment details.
  • Resend — email delivery of your generated files.
  • Anthropic — AI generation of your config files via the Claude API.
  • Neon — database storage of your bundle for redelivery purposes.

4. Data retention

We retain your description and generated files indefinitely so we can resend them on request. If you want your data deleted, email us at support@configseed.com and we will remove it promptly.

5. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies or analytics. We use browser sessionStorage temporarily to display your generated files after payment — this data never leaves your device.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell or share your data with anyone except the third-party services listed above, which are necessary to operate the service.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@configseed.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are located in the EU or UK, you also have the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for unauthorized access outside of our reasonable control.

9. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes arising from this policy are subject to the dispute resolution terms in our Terms of Service.
